    Vortex Diamondback Binoculars

Just purchased a tripod adapter to use with my Vortex Diamondbacks but I can't get the cap the thread off of the front. Does anyone have any tips?

I wonder if you could spray some duster on it to freeze the cap and in turn shrink it enough to loosen it.

Lefty loosey righty tighty? I have lost one of those caps in the past and vortex was fast to send a new one-incase you get a bit rough on it.
