    Ice fishing near Armstrong

    Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone has any recommendations for ice fishing lakes near Armstrong? I went to Hidden last year but I've heard it's only accessible via snowmobile currently.

I'm curious if anyone has any insight on Gardom, Piller, Joyce or Miller? With this warm weather I'm thinking Gardom will have a good amount of water or slush but with the higher up lakes, I'm thinking it may be better.

    Thanks in advance!

I was at Gardom when the snow first flew and it had a lot of fellows on it. Looks productive but not busy or over crowded

Just thought I'd update for those who are interested. I fished Gardom lake today and although it was slow, I did manage to get one nice 2lb rainbow and the ice was in great shape. No slush/snow.

Will be trying Miller lake later this week!

Spent the day at Miller and didn't get a thing unfortunately. Great/thick ice conditions though. Another fellow there landed a nice 4lb'er but it was slow overall for all. It's not driveable all the way there but it's a short walk to the lake.
