Hiked for 7 continuous hours today in foot + of snow trying to find this guys tracks and follow them, found 1 set of Deer tracks........ lol.
From my observation safe to say mostly all BT sheds were on the ground ~Feb 15th, still haven't found any. Think i'm going to abandon this area for greener pastures for sheds now

We just rented a cabin at sir Winston Churchill on lac la biche for 3 nights and set the insulated shelter up out front. Just a couple of buddy heaters and some chairs. There’s a few setups like yours close by.
I really don’t do a lot of fishing, but my wife loves it so she spends most of the day in the tent and I spend the day entertaining kids and making sure the dogs stay out of trouble. She’s had a couple of nice pike on the ice. Pike are closed and walleye are only 55-60 cm. Everybody we’ve talked too said the fishing is slow, but this is the best fishing we’ve had here in a few years.
