Hey RiverOtter . What S the new canoe ? Tell us a bit about it . We have a Clipper Tripper 17 footer. Need to get it out on the water more ! We took lessons but I think I have forgotten most of LOL !

I’d like to know more about canoes if you guys with more experience are willing to share. I rented a canoe a few years ago for a 5 day trip,but it was super tippy and the kids said they’d never go in one again. It was a cool circuit though. It was a circle through 5-6 lakes with portage trailers between them.
It would probably be a worthwhile thread of its own.

I believe mine is 14' or 15', and the first thing I did was lower the seats about 4" - makes all the difference...mine is just a regular plastic canoe, can't remember the make/model...it's worth getting one as long as it seems durable and not flimsy etc...
