    Shooting in lower mainland

Hey guys. I just brought back my bow to the lower mainland. I live in Maple ridge and was wondering if there is any place close by I can shoot in the off season.

You could get a membership at the mission gun club. They have a great archery setup with a trail and animal targets setup at unknown ranges. They also have a flat field area

I'm a member at mission. The 3D course is decent, although it is the only one I've ever shot.

No problem. If you want to check it out before signing up let me know. I think the guest fee is $20 whether it’s 2D or 3D but I’ll have a look next time I’m there.

It may have been good at one time, but that time is long past. The course and targets need major work and replacement imo, and a good shooting friend I have is also a member there and he's disgusted with the condition. We shot an afternoon there in Sept I believe and we were both appalled by the conditions. Sure as hell isn't worth $20 to do a round imo

Not in all cases. I’ve called the city of Maple Ridge and they have nothing in the bylaws about archery. I shoot in my yard.
