    Hey thank ya!

She was shooting my mountain rifle, a lightened up 6.5 swede in a T3. I’m not real familiar with many drops, except on the couple rifles I use. I shoot 140 gr accubonds, with a 19 1/2” barrel, my load uses 1 grain over max load (reloader 22).

I’m zeroed for 200 yards, does 36” seem like lots of drop for that distance? I really don’t know, I just know that’s where I hit with my set up consistently at 450.

Ok thanks for that i am no specialist on this, my rifle is an xbolt, 7mm rem mag, i shoot 150 gr barnes ttsx, zero 3 inches high at 100, 2.9 inches high at 200, approximately 1 inch low at 300, used barnes calculator for this when they had one you could use at it was spot on, for 400 i think it is 9 inches of drop, still hell of a shot and job well done

Nothing is like climbing a mountain, and then feeling like you are at the top of the world.

I scrolled through it a lot on pause on my phone, I can’t see where you fellas see it? No hard feeling by me if it did hit snow, I just can’t see what your seeing.

I did have the spotter zoomed in a bit, so the bullet /vapour trail enters the screen from the bottom of the view. I was set up about 5’ higher just behind the shooter, not sure if that makes it look different? I can slow mo the bullet from when it enters the screen until it hits the wolf, the only snow I see is from his feet tipping over.
