I just picked up some of that Blue Steel chirony wrap so I've been tying bugs with that over the past couple days. We'll see what the hype was all about. Whenever I tried to buy it last year the inventory was gone. I do like how the chiros are coming out brighter than the ASB strips I was using. ASB always seems to produce but we've been observing brighter looking bugs and this might be the answer. I'll keep switch up between reloading and fly tying to keep me entertained in the early mornings and while relaxing in the evenings. By the time the lakes start fishing, I'll have way more flies that we can ever use.
    Good info thread, thanks

R, how did this material work out for you?
Glad to say I have hunted Northern BC

Simon Fraser had pretty good judgement on what he found in BC

Reminds me I gotta get back to tying. Gave everything away last season.
