There are a pile of proposed changes to the next version of the hunting regs.
Some apply province wide and others are specific to individual MU's

How do we find out what the exact proposal's are ? For instance the first one just says "precision guided firearms " nothing else . What is the Proposal and how do we find out?

This one has me concerned! Some government officials feel a rangefinder is a "guided firearm"!!

They're not picking on actual rangefinders, instead they're looking to ban the super expensive scopes that have rangefinding and targeting capabililty, an item that only people with really big pockets can afford. I think a lot of hunters here don't realize how many people are dropping into BC and just looking to kill things, money is no object. A number of these proposed bans are targeting those kind of people.
