    Moose 6-09 3 tags.

Hey, Not asking anyone to give up practiced secrets however my kids need food so Im asking for help should someone be wiling.
Ive myself my mom and one other guy who have bull tags for 6-9 Im from Victoria so have not a ton of local experience.
Between the pipeline work near Morice Lake, recent snow, and overall situation moose wise this time of year, Im assuming what I have learned in past years hunting near Arctic lake won't apply much at this time of year...
Ive tried multiple areas, see lots of recent sign... doesn't seem to garner much in the way of results schedule wise also from what I'm used to....

Are there any simple guidelines for what to do this time of year, etc.
Id greatly appreciate the help... Don't mind doing the legwork but learning from my elders has always been the smarter way to go.
    Thank you in advance!

Do your research ahead of time. This comes up every year. 6 doesn't produce a good amount of swamp donkeys and with last year's fires its even harder.

Look outside the burns, don't waste time in the areas that fire has claimed

Just sayin that when I referred to moose as swamp donkeys I got cuffed on the side of my head and was directed to give moose the respect they deserve. That was over 30 yrs ago
