I picked up a pair of these for 240ish as a spare and have been thoroughly impressed. Wore them to retrieve my gear and elk rack 2000 feet up an avalanche chute and my feet were good. Crossed right through a river on my way back to camp and no water came in

We've had really bad luck with Bogs (they leak) - really good luck with Muck - kid is 10. Haven't had luck finding Muck boots on sale though.

I also got him a pair of last year's model Columbia Bugaboot (which is a really warm snow boot) at Winners of all places ($60 regular $100 if I remember right).

Has anyone heard of Daffo boots? I bought a pair about 17 or 18 years ago for backups, but honestly don’t recall where I found them and haven’t seen them since.

I have a pair of Daffo composite toe work boots. I used them as my motorcycling boots for years now. I bought them at the safety gear place in New West. Bigfoot I think?
