Hey HuntingBC!

I'm hoping for a little nudge in the right direction if anyone would be so kind as to share?

I'm hoping to get several grouse for a nice locally sourced thanksgiving feast, trying to get my non hunter friends more and more switched on to what we do, why, and how delish wild game is.

I've shot a few grouse, seen a good few I didn't shoot, but always incidentally while stomping around looking for deer (I think bucks are a myth at this point - haven't seen once since I watched one cross the road in Princeton).

Does anyone have any tips on how to find grouse more consistently this time of year? Of course I'll take any honey holes you want to send my way, but I'm very keen to learn the skills of how to find game, more than just asking for spots.

I'm in downtown Vancouver so I'm hunting region 2 normally. Any tips tricks or advice would be appreciated, and I'll buy you a beer at the next BHA pint night!

Cheers
Sean
