Saw your entry in the journal at Cold fish camp from a few years ago.
That journal is something else. I had seen my ex-girlfriend's dad had been in there before us and got a caribou. I was mad at her, like shit woman, let me know so I can give your dad a call and pick his brain.

    Back to Beer-Radimus

    Ooops... Here he is

Well Beer-Radimus also got a region 5 moose draw. But his hunting time would be limited on time to hunt do to work. I usually give people shit when they use work as an excuse to not go hunting (book your holidays for hunting you goof)... but in this case he has legit reason. SO with limited time, even though his draw ran through September, I ran out and put up a blind with trail cams up for Beer-Radimus

Great thread. HBC needs more of this.

Parking lot swapping a toyota wheel bearing is a bitch of a job, in addition to the hard hunt preceding it. Kudos.

Re: 2019 Getting Up To Speed (Pic Heavy)

After I got the trail camera and blind set up for Beer-Rad, labour day rolled around. Myself and my brother still had our goat draws for the Shitters area(same area I went in 2012 and where me and C-man went in 201. So quick pack job, boss told me to leave work early and we were off. We were pulling up to the trail head about 1 am. All of a sudden this huge blue streak went across the sky. Looked real close... well it was in universal terms. When we got back I figured it to be the QY5 Meteorite. We slept in the cab of my brother's tacoma that night. Well I waited until daylight.

The next day we were up the mountain in fairly short order. We were only going for a night or two so we didn't pack much. When we got to the "lake" we got camp set up and were off to our glassing spot.

Mine and C-man's camp form last year was still half ass set up... just meant we had seasoned firewood!

We finally rigged up a sliding float with and empty water bottle and paracord to estimate the deepest park of this water source was 10 feet deep.

    Glassing time
