Yup! My son wasn't able to come out for a quick hunt tonight so my 12 year old daughter decided to come along with me, which worked out well as she prefers it to be just her and I anyways. The focus was just a little grouse hunt with hopes of finding bear and deer as well. We found a nice trail and set off on foot. We finally saw a grouse and she made a fantastic shot with the .22 which dropped him in his tracks. It was her first harvest ever. I'm super proud of her and how we are all developing as a hunting family. My 10 year old son made his first kill this spring as well which was a snow shoe hare. Yup, proud dad moments all around.
