    Grey squirrel spots?

    Hey guys,

my August bunny march was somewhat successful in that I found rabbits, I shot some rabbits and I ate some rabbits! Not in great numbers but a great learning experience all the same. So many thanks for all the suggestions and tips on that thread.

Now! I am keen to identity some areas that I may be able to hunt grey squirrels.
I appreciate a good laugh but please spare me the illegal options.

Just curious if there are any areas that are huntable, if they even exist outside of city limits.
Is private land the best option, maybe getting farm land permission?

any helpful tips or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

    thanks guys

Tree rats . . . . neighbor has a walnut tree. It is one of the filthiest plants on this planet. Grey squirrels everywhere. This morning the crows found the big stash of walnuts. I would like to level that evil plant . . . I'd buck it large, push it into a heap and burn it green with tires and diesel fuel. Wouldn't salvage anything from that @$#%& . . .

Find someone what owns a walnut tree. You'll get about 3 weeks of good shooting in before they clean the tree out and are gone.

Tree rats are seen mostly in urban areas because they are an invasive species anywhere you can actually shoot you will likely not see them.

Hi everybody, I have just seen this thread.

I'm also on the search for grey squirrels on crown land. Is there anybody who may have an idea or private property with a grey squirrel problem? I have a Black and Tan hound who loves hunting squirrels, if somebody has a good spot and like to join, we'd for sure get a lot . I'd cook the squirrels if I get some, they are supposed to be very good tasting.

Go fishing instead, way more meat. Or go shoot a black bear and save 15 fawns and moose calves.

Look around is there someone you can introduce to shooting because that’s the only way we will buck the anti gun trend sweeping Canada! "tigrr 2006"

I tried to hunt a bear this spring with every available day off, and failed. But I will try again.
