Looking for lab breeders with upcoming litters

    Hey all,

My fiancé and I are looking to add a puppy to the fold this year (or early next).
We have bounced back and forth on what breed (GWP, GSP, Toller, Springer, Lab) to get but are leaning towards a black or choco lab.

The idea is is that the dog will be family companion with a side of hunting assistant.
We live in a large pet friendly 2 bedroom apartment and have flexible work schedules that will allow us to deal with the puppy.

I’ve a few friends and family that have recommended White Robin, but I’m unsure if they are doing the appropriate health checks yet. Short of speaking with them (next step) I haven’t found any updates on this.

Does anyone know of any upcoming litters elsewhere?
If it cant be done with one shot, it shouldn't be done.

Hey Livewire. I live in Burnaby too and have a choco lab. Send me a DM if you want to get together for a coffee or something and I can share my experiences. Our lab is 8 years young and going strong.

Some day retrievers in Kamloops/Cherry creek breeds some top notch hunting dogs as well as service dogs, so both ends of the spectrum energy wise but both top notch in the work ethic. I went for the hunting lab and shes a machine in the field and on the water but super high on the energy scale so not for everybody. Their service/show dogs are more relaxed but still make very smart hunting companions. Linda has been in the game for over 30 years, she knows what shes doin.

I was provided with copies of all health checks and clearances.

GOOD POST Dru I have known Tracy for years and hunted over her dogs. Can't go wrong for a laid back dog with lots of retrieve in it. What ever you choose be sure ALL appropriate health checks are done
