LEH Roosevelt Elk: 2-05G Deserted River august 2019 Scouting Trip

Getting ready for October 10th ! Went up to Deserted bay scouting (read cutting dead fall off trails) last weekend, ramp behind the breakwater at the old logging camp at the mouth of the bay is toast and underwater at all but low tide, even then its a scramble on foot. Vancouver River float is rough but ok. Very little fresh elk sign and lots of fresh Bear sign. Anyone else draw up there and planning to hunt in October ? If so PM me if you want to coordinate. I should also mention that we were also up in Vancouver Bay fly fishing the Vancouver River and riding the dirt bikes up the Valley around 20km if anyone needs a report of that area as well. Access off the float is good for walking or dirt bikes but someone has placed large concrete barricade that will prevent you from offloading quads on the dock and running them up the ramp to land.
