Watched enough documentaries about salmon, read "The Behavior and Ecology of Pacific Salmon and Trout" textbook that is part of marine biology curriculum years ago, etc.
Love the topic.
Actually there is a good documentary by a BC filmmaker Leon Lorenz, called The Journey Home of the Chinook Salmon that is available on Amazon if you are interested.
I bought this years ago when you could buy in on DVD from the Fresh water fisheries BC.
One of a kind documentary.
It explains a lot about the Fraser river bound Chinook salmon, where they go, how they get there and obstacles they face.
Pretty amazing.
