looks like moricetown, very disrespectful. I watched people do the same with nets in the river out in a boat. They pulled the nets in and threw lots of dead fish back in the river. CO's were called but nothing was done. Same year with recreational fishery closed - you could buy $5 per sockeye from the back of a truck in moricetown, telkwa and smithers.

I agree, for the life of me I just dont understand the effort required to go net these fish, then club them in an obvious attempt to kill them..and then simply stand by while these fish flop back to the river..anyone know why this happened? What was the purpose of the netting effort...why let them flop to the river if you need this protein so badly ?
