Great story thanks for sharing. Going on my first 10 day sheep hunt this year hopefully it’s half as exciting as your last!!

I really enjoyed that! Thanks so much for taking the time. I won't be going for sheep, but both my son and I were fortunate to draw mountain goat tags. Best of the season bud!

Great read, thanks for taking the time to share your story. I’m leaving for what I hope to be a very similar hunt 5 weeks from today - the excitement level was high before reading this story. It’s even higher now. There’s something about living in the mountains with/against nature that challenges us to come back as soon as the hunts are over.

Thanks for recounting your sheep/elk trip, great share.

    Good luck this season.

Great story and hunt! Thanks... exactly what I was hoping to find this morning logging in lol. Heading out in just shy of 2 months for elk and sheep and losing sleep already. Good job pulling off the elk and sheep success too and within 6 days!! hard enough just to get a sheep down. Also, what was the set up for base camp (tent and stove)?

Cool story. I hope you can find that black ram. Sounded like a dandy!
