They would not have burned the vehicle without having secured another one. They knew it was impossible to walk a decent mile without being exposed or caught
it is possible that a third person was involved. This third person drove another vehicle following them. They burned the RAV4 to let rcmp believe they were around that area. Indeed, they had left with the third person in another vehicle days before.
If rcmp haven't searched their homes in port alberni, that is derelict of duty.

Seems to me if they were spotted in the dump then the man would of moved in immediately and set up a perimeter and containment area, there would be no escaping that...I think the witness was either mistaken or bullschitting.

If they truly were seen looking for food in the dump it’s not going to be long because they clearly are not surviving off the land and they are desperate for food

The fact that RCMP is pulling back to last known sighting I think there might be some BS in the York Landing tip

RCMP clearly have no idea where these 2 are and won’t be surprised they pop up in some other province or bodies are found extremely decomposed
