The South East Troll quoata was set at 110,000 - the highest it has ever been.
And they are doing well from what I hear.
Lower 48 runs are a mix.
Some concerns on the Columbia, but Oregon & Washington Troll fisheries have been open for springs since early May, and continue.
California is realizing a Bonanza run of springs, their largest in decades in fact.
So it would seem that the only ones using The Blob as an excuse still is the Do Nothing & Pray Canadian DFO.
