    Inga Lake

We are headed up north this year and I want to spend a little time there to fish and hunt, now is the hunting worth the stop or continue on? Looks like a nice rec site but close to agri zone so thinking there should be some no good, alfalfa eating elk around?
    Or
is it just really busy with oil and gas plus over run by wolves?

Hi there! Forester here in that area.

There’s still game to be found everywhere you can find’em, but the past few years, I haven’t seen a single elk in that area (including somewhere around 100hrs of helicopter reconnaissance). Lot of black bear though...

There are some fantastic areas up here, but I wouldn’t bother spending too much time hunting there personally - too close to the highway.

    Cheers!.
