Sept 21st 2020 was day i got this Bull , after a 28 hour drive got us to our Destination , Wasn't sure how things were going to play out with covid19 and the fn not wanting us there . but we had no problems with any fn ,didn't even see any .
IT was the first day that we were there around 1:00 in afternoon i got this guy. that was the third bull we seen that day , My son and i had to make about 1 1/2 km stalk they were bedded down , but because there was no cover to get behind we got within 400 yards of them before they got up and were going to leave , so after a couple 400 yard shots he was down for good with one behind the front shoulder , the first shot I miss judged the distance . hard to tell when its that open . next time i'll take range finder. we seen a couple small bull moose but nothing we wanted and lots of grizzlys as well as some nice stone rams .thanks to those who give me solid advise
