#1 & #2 are to me both 6 points. #1 might even be a 7x6 but I would want him to turn towards me a bit so I can make sure his left brow ines are both on his left side (optics can fool you from that angle!) and he isn't showing one of his brow tines on his right but could be there and he appears to have an extra sticker just above his 4th point.
#2 just has a broken tine on his right making him only 5 point on that side but his left has 6 point, but would like to see him wiggle his head to make sure that 6th point is not a branch in the background.
Again, both would have to turn before I would ever shoot!!

Is a spur still a spur, if it's greater than 1"...?
.... i've never even heard of a basal burr before....
I was not aware that they had changed the spike/ fork immature moose definition.. thanks for the update...
Last moose draw was 8 years ago, finally drew again this year. May come in handy during the s/f season

I'd put the ram at 8 years.

i still say that muley is a 3 point.
Agreed, it appears to have the typical vertical rising eye guard plus an extra spur at the base
iirc there has been discussion about this spur/eye guard on mule deer in regard to how it is not counted as a typical tine, where on a white tail the tine is smooth and usually longer more typical of other wt tines
The burrs on md can reach some length, are usually rough and gnarly but are not considered tines.
