I use Leupold 10x32's as they are nice and clear but small in size

10x50 monocular, actually its 1/2 a broken binocular. Fits in a pocket just way nicer to pack around. If something happens to it I'll definitely be getting a real one. The weigh, size and one hand use is makes it easier I find.

From someone who knows this subject a 'ell lot better than me. Lower power is easier and cheaper to get clear than higher power. A $500 8x is as clear as a $1000 10x. Remember, clear is as important as size.

for everyday binocular I would stick to a 8x42 or 10x42 but if you want to go up from there jump up to a 15x56, Brew on HBC has a pair of Swarovski 15x56 and they are amazing glass and have been wanting a set ever since I looked through his.

I use 12 x 50. They are a little bulkier but don’t bother me. If you always have your spotting scope then carry an 8 or 10 power binocular. If not then go with the 12x.
