    Bison 7-57A October 01

    Hello huntingbc community!!!

Wondering if anyone here who has some experience in hunting bison in 7-57A ( especially in early October ) and could share some up to date information.
Never been to this area and never hunted bison before so any up to date information would be appreciated like contact info for the ranches, good camp spots, area access tips and etc.

Government package didn’t have much info.

    Thanks in advance,
    Henry.

Be prepared to work if you get one. Hike into the hills as they are very spooky now. They used to be not as sketchy as they are now. Bring a good backpack to pack them out. Heavy grizzly population so keep your gun loaded. Glad we got ours before they started staying in the mountains. I know one guy that took 3 days packing his out. 4 Grizzlies later and one warning shot later, he said never again. Lol. Good luck, it will be an awesome experience!

South Sikanni road was regraded a year or so back, should be able to get pretty far in there.

Had that draw years ago. Stayed at Blueberry Ranch. Shot mine on the 3rd or 4th day near Horse Camp. Snowed about a foot randomly one day other than that it was sunny. Quads are a must. Blueberry Ranch accommodations were great. If that's not what you want to do there is a trail around but it was pretty rough.

    Goodluck!!
