Youngest son is headed to BC for five or six weeks to work on an industrial installation in/near Aberfoyle. The crew is working long fours but might have a bit of time off. He is an avid fisherman, and was told that Mill Lake in Abbotsford had trout in it. It does not appear to me that fishing Mill Lake would be particularly productive, according to Abbotsford's own website........

He has never fished steelhead or any of the Pacific salmons from shore, has no steehead/salmon gear, and would be looking for shore access to small lakes or streams holding trout or other species. He plans to take a light spinning outfit and some small lures out with him.

I know that several million people live within this general area, and it is unlikely that any public access spot would be much good....

BUT!!!

Any advice?
