My 110 is coming up to 40 years old and still going strong. I’ve cut up every critter imaginable plus rope, kindling etc. I’d put this knife up against anything on the market.

I've been packing a Buck 110 (and their smaller 112A) since the mid sixties.
Through that period they have been all I need to clean / skin / quarter game, and whole lot more.
    Simple, efficient, and reasonably tough.

Although I do have several other knives, these two are on my belt every single time I head afield.
You simply can not go wrong with them.

    Re: Buck 110 Knife

I ended up picking one up yesterday. Seems like a solid knife. If I use it for a year and I'm still liking it, I might empty my pockets on a custom one with better steel, handle, chrome instead of brass, maybe part serrated and of course "caddisguy" engraved in italics on the blade. It's pricy and takes 4-6 weeks, but man it looks cool on their custom knife build website tool

    Thanks for all the feedback!

Congrats on the buy, I am sure you will enjoy your new relationship. I know that I have over the years, so much that I have replaced three that I have lost/misplaced.

I could be wrong, but I not sure if Buck really makes knives, only has them made for them. Much like Browning .
