First mistake of identifying random poops. You gotta pick it up and hold it for scale......trust me.
Found some that I thought was the samsquanch recently, it was huge, just the biggest wolf turds I ever seen all along one road, which I will be spending some time on this year.

Probably elk....
Possibly moose..hard to tell from thumbnail photo..
Health, size, food sources/combination..freezing. .lots of variables..individuals deposits may vary from textbook photos..
