Hi, looking to buy some live chukars for dog training. Does anyone know who sells these? They are a tough bird and can stand up to being retrieved multiple times. BC Pheasant Company doesn't sell them anymore.

Might not be helpful but I got mine through the NAVHDA branch in alberta that I was a member of. They'd take pre orders so you'd go for training session and leave with as many birds as you'd ordered.
Maybe try Kevin Hill at Belmont Gun Dogs in Surrey.
He use to do chukars and pheasants.
Thanks very much!

I think there is a guy out around Hope who sells birds for hunting dog training,,,,pigeons, quail, chukars, and pheasants.
Would you happen to have any contact info for him? If everything goes well I’m hoping to have a GSP pup this spring and have been looking to source some birds in the future. Haven’t ruled out starting a pigeon coup but would like some quail, alive and frozen for introduction purposes
