    Glassing Shelter

Just lookings for some ideas/options for what guys use when they're out glassing and get hit with some rain. Leaning towards something like the Kifaru Sheep Tarp, but not sure if it would be enough for 2 guys and packs to tuck under.

    Thanks!

Siltarp 2, which I believe is 8x10 is adequate for 2 guys and packs.

I have an 8x10 Siltarp, lots of room for 2 guys.

Integral Sil Tarp 2 gets the thumbs up. Packs down real small too.

We recently ordered a Kifaru supertarp. The plan is to use it for glassing, but have the ability to sleep 2 guys comfortably in an emergency if we end up needing to spend the night with the sheep. With the right accessories, it can be used as a floorless shelter with a wood stove as well.

I use a Rab siltarp 2, works good for a sun block, you’ll get soaked using it in the rain tho. Highly do not recommend it. I’ll be looking into a Kifaru tarp ASAP.

*When* we need to spend the night with the sheep. I'll bring my earplugs!
