    Sowaqua used to be great for bear in may untill they logged the hell out of the valley,used to get one or two just driveing in when the road had timber on both sides ..the good old days

    I've never been in there, but I have always wanted to get up onto the ridges and hike. I've oogeled the area on google earth. What's the scary part?
