Have arcteryx leaf alpha gen II, kuiu isn't even in the same league, wasn't any more quiet, sold it, have tried Kryptex, Swazi and numerous others, spent way to much on mediocre rain gear and then finally bit the bullet and glad I did, wait for a sale

My buddy has the Kuiu Chugach rain shell and loves it. He skis with it as well. I find its loud for hunting. I use the kuiu guide softshell jacket. I love the fit and design but I find it a bit cold and certainly wouldn't want to depend on it for an all day rain hunt. I've actually been really happy with some outerwear I got from Eddie Bauer. very tough and I can find them on sale as well.
