Of all known life forms on this planet, ticks are by far the worst. Ever. Of all time.

I went through 2 cans last season throughout numerous trips, did not see a single tick on myself or dog, but there may not have been much of a population in the areas either.
Deet repels them , permethrin kills them
The Farnam Bronco spray we use is only .1 %

Its Frontline Plus for the pooch

I'm using doctor doom horse spray. It is 0.5% permethrin. 500gram aerosol spray.

You're God damn right they're out. Pulled 6 off my dog today after a 3 hour walk in the bush. 6 is the family record for ticks from one dog-not a record I'm proud of! Lol

I was thinking of getting camo wrist bands, ankle boot bands, scarf, and a waist tie made up to fit over my shirt collar/cuffs/belt/socks/boots so no direct contact with skin. Spray them well with permethrin. They also sell Rynoskin to keep these buggers from biting you. You still need to check with Rynoskin so that u dont bring them home with you.
