    planer masts and big boards

Must be a few kootenay lake folks on here running masts and big boards for the big rainbows?

We've got a place on Quesnel Lake and I think the same Kootenay lake strategies will work here as well. With that in mind, I have been building a set of masts and a buddy made up a couple big boards. made an arch to connect the two masts to give it some strength, and some real estate to mount things to. Mechanically it should work well, just lookin for any tips or tricks for fishing a "big board" set-up!

    Any advice appreciated!

Skookum looking mast set-up. What's the story on the screen across the top (or) bottom.... I've not ever seen that before.

The screen is just a wire mesh rack....its attached to the arch, not the boards.....just there to store the boards up off the deck when not in use! Not that big of a boat, so deck space is at a premium!
