    Forty years ago their were no Elk around Chetwynd , you had to go down (up) the Sukunka , preferably on horse back. I remember drawing a track I found at work with a "What's this ?" The old timers were amazed . Lately Elk have been hammered, ranchers don't appreciate what they do to the winter hay.

    Where exactly is the caribou recovery area and is it in full effect?

    How about moose in that area on decline or staying pretty stable?
