    Tripod Head

    Looking for some advice/different opinions.

I'm upgrading the current Manfrotto Tripod I have as it is much to heavy to be lugging around in my pack all the time.

I think I've settled on the Slik Pro 635-CF as a tripod but am not sure what direction I want to go on a head. Itll be used with a 65mm Swaro ATX as well as switched over to use Leice Geovid binos.

Ive been leaning towards the outdoorsman pistol grip head but do see a lot of people run basic ball heads and just wanted some reviews on using a ball head, was looking at the Sirui K-30

    Thanks

    Re: Tripod Head

I run the pro master 6160 head on both my 624 and 634 slik tripods. I have leica bino adaptors for both as well. I have two setups as my son is my sheep partner and of course dad pays. The system works well, is easy to switch out, and is steady enough to handle my swaro 65 without issue.
