Hitting the field first thing in the morning. This freeze up has the birds breaking their usual habits and haven't been seeing them in the fields. Hopefully we can pull some in. Gonna be cold!

Got the 'flu. No panic. Looking at my diary, I got a couple in early March last year.
Anybody see any geese in that snowstorm?
At least Canadas will be contrasted against the snow. Next week when snowies are up that'll be interesting to pick them out of a cloudy day and snowy field for sure
Saw a ton opening day but they were using different routes in this weather and never made it to our set. Better luck next time. Gonna a have to change it up
I had expected the geese to head for warmer areas, but I saw a big flock of geese here in Langley in their usual field picking through 8" of snow to get some grass. They seem to be ignoring the cold and snow and making do. I must wonder where they are spending the nights. No open water near by.
Did the Fraser go dry?
no the wolves redirected the flow to washington
Yes speyman and pnbrock, those clever replies are why no one ever comments here. Thanks for your clever contributions. Good trolls.
As for open water, I was thinking that the Fraser has ice chunks flowing where is is open, and frozen close to the shore and in the shallows.
