    Skunk cabbage is another food source to look for in spring. Take advantage of some of the more open terrain region 8 has to offer and watch for cubs as long as possible before pulling the trigger...watching a youtube video or two on telling the difference between a sow and boar is a good idea. Good luck, post a story and photos of your bear when you get one!

    Thanks, if knowledge could be judged by the amount of youtube
    videos watched I should certainly be prepared
    @Chrispryn also mentioned that.
    My brother is in videography so he really wants to document
    my first attempt. Hopefully it will give you guys enough to laugh at
    with a good end for me.
    From what I hear the recent clear cuts and deactivated logging
    roads would be the best place to look?

    I’ve done quite a bit and some of the guys here were super
    nice by sending some PM’s with info.
