Spend some time on Google Earth looking for those south facing young cut blocks. Then spend the late afternoons and evenings watching over them.
If an animal is going to die so that I might live, the least I can do is perform the unsavoury deed myself.
Region 8 is like others.....big.
Where are you likely to concentrate your efforts. May help with others helping you.
PM on the way

Looks like the Google Earth data in the area is a bit behind. Bing appears to have more recent images.
You can overlay Bing images onto Google Earth. Take a look at this video around the 2:05 mark and then again at the 17:00 mark.

Grassy deactivated roads with dandelion are your friend, as well as green up in clearcuts as previously mentioned..
Cheers guys!
Greatly appreciate the pointers..
So many bears it's not even funny imo easiest hunt in bc good luck
look for scat. Bright green scat, tells u, there's a bear in the area!
I have learned silence from the talkative, toleration from the intolerant, and kindness from the unkind; yet strange, I am ungrateful to those teachers.
