Problem is that like the "Doodles" breeders will just continue to produce them for the big bucks Registered or not.

"BORN TO HUNT"
Foxton's Cuervo Gold "KEELA" Oct. 2004-June 2017. Always in my blind and my heart.
I have owned one Weimaraner and he was a great dog. Smart, and obiedient. One problem I found was that his skin seemed to be "thin". I ended up giving that dog more stitches than I can remember. He got cuts from fences, running birds/rabbits in plantations and once on sharp rocks -lava bed - on the tseax river fishing for springs . After that I had a small German pointer that was incredible. Toughest little pup ever and amazing at retrieving game birds, pointing, and tracking. Between the two I love the Weimaraner but would lean towards the pointer. Like both better than labs....
Man it’s way to hard to add pictures to this site!. I’m a long time viewer And would love to post some pictures of my pup. Uh oh she’s a black lab. Reading your thread here I would love to know where someone on BC needs a pointing dog... where are the pheasants at!!??!! Jk
At least the "doodle" breeders are upfront about the outcross parentage. If people are dumb enough to spend $2500.00 on a crossbred mutt that's their problem.
The Silver breeders, except for the ones (and there are a few) who really don't know the history or the facts about the origin of that color, are outright liars and cheats.. and should be neutered so they can't reproduce.
"Guns kill people like spoons made Rosie O'Donel fat"
I see your argument but we don’t live in North Dakota , where is this secret pheasant hunting area. A lab would do way better in frozen water
I would have bought a pointer if I lived in the flat land ....
but this is Hunting BC.
Holy christ,you guys!!
Here in Bc you can use the pointer for grouse, chukars, ptarmigan and rabbits......flat ground is for the old and decrepit, and the fat!
