    Google Earth vs. Bing Maps

I was complaining to a friend about the poor resolution of Google Earth in northern BC. He suggested trying Bing Maps which didn't surprise me because he works for Microsoft and he always says their stuff is great even when it isn't

To my surprise, Bing Maps are MUCH better in the north.

If you are doing some armchair scouting this winter, try Bing Maps.

If you really want to have some fun try this link... http://ge-map-overlays.appspot.com/bing-maps

Then you can just flip between Google images and Bing images while in Google Earth.
