was out this morning for a drive and saw 5 mulie bucks in a group.I was under the impression that they group up in the spring and summer.is it common for them to bunch up in the winter.One nice 4 point two 3x3 and two spikers.

Yes, post rut they tend to group up again. Sometimes a guy gets lucky and finds where the boys were hanging when they shed and you can get multiple sets in close proximity.

Last Christmas I was out snow shoeing and bumped 5 deer, all which happened to be bucks ranging from2-4 pt. Nothing left for them to fight over at that point, strength in numbers !!

That thought crossed my mind.I have hunted this area the last couple of years and had seen very little sigh ,just shows us how good they are at avoiding us.
