Ducks and Small Game

So now that the “main event” isdone for the fall, has anyone been out for waterfowl or rabbits, or?? I usually duck hunt private land in Delta and Surrey as well as Boundary Bay, and am thinking of a rabbit/snowshoe hare hunt over Xmas as I will be in the coast mountains.

How has your duck/goose season been so far?

Me and a buddy had a pretty good duck shoot last Sunday in chilliwack, it was my first actual duck hunt, I was surprised I didn’t as actually decent with my calling and managed to bring in a few sets of 5-7 birds, my buddy being the better shot was more successful but still had a good time, would definitely like to get out again.

Nice! I’ve only been at it for 4 seasons, so am far from an expert, but I’ve had some successful days. I drive past a lot of good areas, but have only seen a lot of birds in one spot with any regularity. Of course it’s a park:/
