after rewatching the crouching at the beginning and spotting the tail at the end of the clip I am going to change my opinion to Bobcat..

I would say you’re guess of 15-40lbs is accurate lol
Trapper is probably right I would guess 20-25lbs but that is mostly because I remember what a good size bobcat was on my line in region 2 not your clip. My biggest region 2 bobcat was 33lbs
Either way it’s always neat to catch them on trial cam being one of those animals that is elusive but always around
100% bobcat legs are too short for lynx
30 lbs max
Shhhhitttt I got this hold my beer
The cat came back. At least I think it is the same one anyway. I put myself on the video for scale. 20-25 lbs I'd guess (I'm 150) Talking to the local trapper I think he's going to put a set right on the cam and hopefully grab the video off it for me.
Backstory on "the chair" ... was going for a little walk up an FSR. caddisgirl had to hit the timber to drop an urgent deuce... tucked her folding blind chair behind a firepit before the washout at the end of an FSR and ran for the bushes.
It just so happened, within that next 5 minutes, a guy drove up and grabbed the chair. Tried to catch up on foot running after their vehicle down the FSR. Though about firing a shot or two in the dirt to get their attention, but didn't want them to think some crazy guy was chasing and shooting at them LOL ... but if that was anyone on here by any chance please PM me so we can pick up the chair. She was pretty bummed out as it took a long time to find one easy to carry that she was comfortable in and now they don't sell it anymore. Not gonna post the plate as I am sure it was an honest mistake (ie: thought it was abandoned)

My guess is 25 pounds nice cat..
Hunting Elk Is All About Finding Them ,If You Can't Find Them Keep Trying ..
If I had to guess I would put him in the 19-22lbs range. Not a massive bob by any means.
You can take the man out of the wilderness but you cant take the wilderness out of the man.
Yes, with some perspective now, it helps to get a better idea.
Either way, they are still cool critters.
Still hoping to see a Lynx and a Wolverine "first hand" one day.
