    Totally agree. this is bloody absurd and shows incompetence on the part of government. we know where their allegiance lies.

    Took me ten minutes in all to update. Will see what happens.

    As an aside, if you are stopped and questioned, your driver's licence is your proof of residency, and links to your valid hunting licence.

    Funny I posted about this a few days ago.... all I did was take a photo of my D.L. and uploaded it .... within an hour I had new date for Dec 5 2021.....very easy

    I am the president of our local club and a core examiner. There has been no communication from the government or the BCWF on this.

    Anyone know what happens if someone isn’t aware and doesn’t do it by deadline. Like others, am amazed this wasnt rolled out better.

    I called and talked to Front Counter BC and was told basically would be like driving without a license.... you would be hunting without a license.... you would not be able to hunt until the proof of residency has been made

    I think this is a good thing. Too many people cheat the system by moving out of the province but keeping an address here. This way it will make More residents actually hunting
