Not much need to renew long before your expiry date as I did mine which was due Jan 1 now it is due three years from the date of renewal , but saves missing it during hunting season

In my BCeid account, tell’s me I can’t renew until within 6 months of my expiration date which is November 15, 2019. Good to know that you can.

Went to the Ladysmith library and they scanned my documents then e-mailed them to my computer.
This e-mail was forwarded to the frontcounterbc@gov.bc.ca address.
Received a conformation that it was received by them.

    Just an update . . .
This did not work. They did not accept my documents.
Photographed my documents, then uploaded them to the Govt. site
    Wait and see . . . . ?

I'm still scratching my head at why we need to send a picture of our BCDL?

And how does that prove residency in BC for the next 3 years?

Why not just have us provide the BCDL number, and then check its validity at the time of purchase of hunting license/tags?

Because that particular gov't agency thought it was a good idea. It's not perfect but it's what we have right now, it will continue to improve.

So, is there such a thing as a FWID card?
