I know! I was serious about not wanting to see you in assless chaps though.

We managed to put a good dent in our area of focus. Plans are in place to continue with this project in the Spring and we will be sure to have more notice.

Chaps with asses are called pants!

If it wasn’t a 5 hour drive each way, I’d have gone up. Thanks for putting in the effort!

Great job folks! Unfortunately the notice was a bit late for me to make plans. Participating in a little moose management research. If you folks are willing, a few of the local clubs would likely have some volunteers, me being one of them, that would be willing to help. Reach out to them, they all have websites, email distribution lists and social media pages that could spread the word quickly. Again great job and I look forward to hearing more.

We conducted such a project on Bald Range in behind West Kelowna 5 plus years ago, and we still have not been given the green light to burn those piles. We even had local biologists helping us with the project. Unfortunately an invasive weed St. John's-Wort became an issue and the project has largely been abandoned.

    Good luck.
There was a time I thought all parties that cared for wildlife and habitat conservation could find common ground. I was wrong. Adapt....

Felt good to help out at Greyback with the spacing work, glad we didn't have to interrupt good cutting with any piling work.
Arms were a little peakid the next morning, its been a while since I ran a saw for 5 hours straight )

Also, wonder just how close were we to actual sheep habitat ?
    j/k........ it'll help the other ungulates )
