Seals above the canyon? I would love to see them get past the falls at Circus.
This system went to shit after the headwaters got absolutely logged to shit.
one of the best rivers in BC is now gone. This closure should have come into effect 4 years ago.

Any conservation effort must include ALL factors ( including predation control) if it has any chance of success.Political correctness or public whims (ie seals are cute)have no place in the decision...

This is not the only river that is currently suffering, in fact most that I know are. I formed a lifestyle around spending three months each winter chasing winter steelhead. They are pretty much gone, and so is that lifestyle. There are a host of problems that must be dealt with, and soon, or we will be facing losing them forever. Unfortunately the Province and the Feds don't give a chit about these ones...
