    I will mention that wolves moved into the area I hunt and proceeded to wipe out the moose, deer and bear population. It went from seeing lots of animals to none. One fall I saw 30 black bears while exploring on my atv. 2 years after 6 wolves moved in, there were 3 bear sightings that fall. The wolves smell the bears in their winter den and kill and eat them. Nothing left but a bit of fur. Trapper took 5 of the 6 wolves and now it is up to 3 again. I was shocked to witness how quickly they clear out an area. I don't know if the animals moved away or were eaten, but they are not here anymore.
    I hope the trapper gets the last 3 and then we will see how fast the population of Moose, deer and bears returns.
    The challenge of retirement is how to spend time without spending money.

    I did that last year. Don’t think the folks processing harvest cards give a shit. They just putting in their 9-5, hop in their car and go home.
